VALUE ASSESSMENTS
Conducted a management assessment of a long-standing life/group insurance brokerage. Recommended the immediate divestiture of the group segment of the business, which was effected within 60 days of our recommendation.
     
  Conducted an organizational/management assessment for a regional food processor with sales nearing $200,000,000. Recommendations were implemented virtually upon receipt.
     
  Conducted a valuation of a Canadian-domiciled medical products distributor that resulted in providing the owner with the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding an offer presented by a friendly acquirer.
 

VALUE BUILDING
Developed, evaluated and implemented growth strategies for a regional sports facility.
     
  Designed an executive compensation plan and corporate bonus program as an integral part of the strategic business plan for a northeastern promotional programs and events developer.
     
  Developed and implemented new financial and operational processes for a $10 million revenue company resulting in enhanced annualized cash flow of $900,000 in less than one year.
     
  Developed a refocused sales and operations program at a $2,500,000 revenue company leading to a 17% annual growth rate and a fivefold increase in operating profit.
     
  Developed and implemented new financial and operational processes for a $6 million revenue company, resulting in a 150% rise in earnings within one year.
     
  Arranged $10 million in financing to recapitalize a rapidly growing $20 million revenue manufacturer that was initiating a strategic growth and shareholder diversification effort.
     
  Arranged $800,000 in debt financing for a young high-tech company with sales of $3,000,000.
 

VALUE REALIZATION
Developed and implemented new financial, operational and sales processes for a $13 million revenue company over a five-year period, progressing through each stage of The Value Builder ProgramSM. Increased operating profit from break-even to $600,000 in eight months. Strategic focus and tactical changes propelled revenue growth to $21 million within three years. Acted as key advisor and transaction manager and sold the company, achieving a transaction value of $25 million.
     
  Directed exclusive financial advisor/transaction manager in the sale of a regional distributor/retailer of consumer goods. Selling price in low-to-mid eight figures. Multiple of EBIT achieved was about 25% over median industry multiples at time of sale.
     
  Directed a mid seven-figure ESOP and minority stockholder buyout for a controlling interest in a large regional contractor and supplier for the HVAC industry.
     
  Designed and arranged dissolution of a real estate partnership, mid seven-figure total value; secured financing to retire one partner, allowing remaining partner to continue operations under a new partnership.
     
  Managed and acted as exclusive advisor for a leading nationwide manufacturer and distributor of bakery products. Transaction value was low-to-mid eight figures.
     
  Acted as exclusive advisor and transaction manager for the seller of a regional heavy truck leasing company. Sold to a national concern with a transaction value in the mid-to-high seven figures.
     
  Acted as key advisor and sell-side transaction manager for a medical, industrial and military products manufacturer. Transaction value in excess of 10 times net earnings.
     
  Acted as exclusive advisor and transaction manager for the seller of a long-established restaurant operation.
     
  Acted as exclusive advisor and transaction manager for the seller of a $3,000,000 revenue commodity business. Transaction value in low seven figures.
